Wood fired porcelain pitcher with agate glaze. Handcrafted and fired for 100 hours in Nanfeng dragon kiln. Built in 1506, the dragon kiln is named as such because it resembles a dragon winding up the mountain, breathing smoke and fire – it faces southwards, catching the southern winds to fuel the flames within.
