Handmade cup, thrown and trimmed on a potters wheel, made completely from materials foraged in Northern California and minimally processed to allow the natural beauty to show through. A dark, rough clay body is used, with a white clay slip applied after drying. A simple clear glaze made of local feldspar and wood ash is then applied. The various layers interact to give a rich and varied white-light grey surface with occasional pink flashing known as "gohonde".
NOTES
3.5 tall and holds 8-10oz. Microwave safe, hand wash recommended.
