Sensuji Mino-yaki Sencha Teacup
This small single-serving sencha teacup features a minimalistic design with hand carved lines. Minoware, or Mino-yaki refers to Japanese pottery that was produced in Mino Province around the towns of Tajimi, Toki, Mizunami, and Kawagoei in Gifu Prefecture. Made using the soil of Gifu Prefecture, Minoyaki is the oldest pottery found in Japan and originated in the 7th century. Throughout Japan's tea ceremony culture, a common purpose is to pursue the natural state of beauty.
