A petite footed chawan, thoughtfully formed for preparing matcha. Minoware, or Minoyaki refers to Japanese pottery that was produced in Mino Province around the towns of Tajimi, Toki, Mizunami, and Kawagoei in Gifu Prefecture. Minoyaki is the oldest pottery found in Japan.
