This elegant Tokoname-yaki senchawan (sencha cup) is made with yakishime clay and is fired in the tanka style. The cup is decorated with an intricate web of fine mogake, or seaweed wrapping before firing. With a classic tulip shape and a modest size, this cup is ideal for savoring high-grade sencha, though can be used for any purpose.
