A sweet little footed teacup featuring a classic translucent crazed glaze that shows off the warm beige clay that Hagi ware is famed for. Like many Hagi wares, these cups feature the characteristic 'notched foot'. A perfectly sized vessel for sencha or other teas. Hagi-yaki (萩焼) is a type of Japanese pottery that comes from the town of Hagi in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan and dates back over 400 years.
